  1. Now that should be on some kind of a card you send to someone in Hawaii!! I wish we had snow today instead of rain.

  4. Susan,

We got snow last night -- up in the mountains where it doesn't do a danmed bit of good.

  5. Hi Susan

Your photos are fantastic and I've put the one with the first snow on the tree as my desktop background today. I found your blog after a foodie link on a UK radio station feature. Have checked in with you most days and am soooo envious of your lifestyle. Am a wannabe cowgirl stuck in an English Marketing Exec's body!! Loving the photos of animals, specially the llamas. God Bless. Beverley.

  6. I think that you get all of that lucious greenery during summer as a balance to the cold snowy days of winter. I don't think you can have one without the other here in the states.

  11. Hi Vickie,
Sounds like the opposite of what my California relatives did on Thanksgiving--emailed me photos of them at the beach with their surfboards!

    Hi Amy,
I can't believe it's already been six months.

    Hi Jeff,
Thanks. I love going back and plucking out these earlier photos. Reminds me of just how different things look here from season to season (or day to day!)

    Hi Nic,
Thanks. I'm really putting them up for selfish reasons. They give me such a wonderful record of what goes on around here. But I'm sure glad that other people are enjoying them so much. : )

    Hi Kevin,
Maybe you're living in the wrong place? : )

    Hi Beverley,
Welcome to the farm! I'm so glad you found us. And I'm flattered that you liked my photo that much. Well, until you get your first pair of boots and some wrangling under your belt, you're welcome to click over here anytime. : )

Thanks for taking the time to write and say hello. It was really nice to hear from you.

    Hi Kat,
You were driving in a foot and a half of snow? Crazy, girl! You should have been at home, cuddled up with your lonesome and lovely cat! (Unless, of course, you were slaving away to keep her in kitty kibbles and the lap of luxury. . . : )

    Hi Dawn,
We certainly do have a lot of contrast between the seasons. I could do with a bit less actually. : )

    Hi Clare,
    Well aren't you sweet.

    Hi Alisha,
Keeping toasty to the mosty as long as I don't move from within five feet of the woodstove, LOL.

    Hi Shuna,
Great to hear from youuuuuuuuuu! : )

    Hi Sailu,
    Thank you. : )

  12. I love your picture of the fence. I have a very simple mind, so I enjoy the simple things in life. The snowy one is my favorite.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
