Farewell To Fall (My Favorite Season In Missouri)

here to see the Daily Farm Photo from the first day of fall.

  1. Good day FG Susan! Yes, fall is done and we are well on our way into winter.

Doodlebug looks like she's got eyeliner on... I bet she's a character and a half too!

    Have a great day...

  2. Is this where I mention it's supposed to be 77 on Christmas day here in Phoenix? Mwuahahahaha :)

  3. No Jeff, this is NOT where you mention it's going to be 77 in Phoenix on Christmas! I'm trying to convince myself that 18 degrees at least isn't 20 below.
On the other hand, hummmmmmmm, you might see house company consisting of cold Northerners one of these days......

  4. Hi Susan, this is just a short note to let you know that I browse your blog daily and I am always keen on seeing your latest photo. No day without the farm shot !!! I wish you a very Happy Christmas and I am looking forward to your spring photos (though I must admit that fall is my favorite season as well), all the best to you & all farm inhabitants, of course a BIG pet to Lucky Buddy Bear and all other animal friends, many kisses from angelika and gino from snowy Vienna

  5. What a gorgeous contrast in those 2 pictures.

Can you believe fall is gone, Christmas is this weekend, and then a whole new year??? It goes faster each day!

  6. Yes, fall is gone and winter arrived 4 weeks ago here in the north part of europe.
Today is the shortest day of the year. Now it turns.

  7. Yes,Susan, fall is gone and thats a lovely pic..:)

  8. Look at that--one of the few leafy survivors, more beautiful because of the contrast.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
