  3. Farmgirl, I have to say I love your website. I grew up on a ranch with cats, dogs, turkey's, horses and many other animals. I am now in my late 20s and always wish I could give my (future) children that life. Your website can bring me to tears when you have been talking about the kitties or give me a smile for the day while I think about doodle donkey. Thank you for having such a great site.

  6. Hi Farmgirl,

I just discovered your blog. What a nice surprise! My grandparents owned a huge ranch when I was little. We spent lots of time there and have wonderful memories of visiting them and exploring the ranch. What a great life you're living! I'll come back and visit often :)

  7. Hi there,

What a great blog! I'm a writer in Seattle who grew up "in the country" so I'm interested in your topic. I'll be eager to read more ...

  8. Love the hearts and your yearly valentine - your love is solid as a rock right? I still think you'll have to take some of the hearts with you from the shack to the palace - I mean artisan bakery and new quarters! LOL - Hope your day was blessed - are you having lambs yet? seems late - no goats here (poor Rocky the buck isn't quite the man we'd hoped).

  9. One of the first posts of yours I ever saw was one of a heart-shaped rock last year. They're something else.

  11. I absolutely adore this Valentine's picture of the assorted heart shaped rocks that you have shared. It is incredibly unique, and in my opinion, of museum quality with the unique interest it would hold. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing it. :)

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
