In a Big Way
© Copyright 2009 FarmgirlFare.com, the restful foodie farm blog where the sun was shining, the temperature was up, the scenery was beautiful, and hardly any of the frozen stuff seemed to be melting. At least the animals aren't caked in ice anymore. This is Snowed In Day 10.
That looks like one happy dog!
ReplyDeleteShe's rolling in something smelly, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteLooks like she's imitating a cockroach! Gees looks cold where you're at! No snow here in sunny Phoenix!
ReplyDelete:-) Seeing those first patches of ground is one of the happiest sights, and your dog looks like she is relishing the day. Though maybe for a different reason? Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm with cndymkr/jean...she's rolling in poop or something, isn't she? LOL. She looks happy though and who can resist that.
ReplyDeleteDaisy doesn't seem to mind the snow days. I, however, not being the possessor of a thick fur coat, have had enough of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! My dogs are wimpy like me and just shiver and shake until we go back in.
ReplyDeleteHi Jean and ChristyACB,
ReplyDeleteHa, thanks for the laugh. Too funny. I hadn't even thought of that, though I should have since Robin is always happily rolling around in something stinky.
But in this case, Daisy is actually fast asleep! She's just laying on some of the sheeps' leftover breakfast hay.
I stopped by to catch up on pictures of all your furry babies and to find a fettucini recipe. I love one stop shopping and a puppy! Daisy is a beautiful girl. I was just thinking how cold it is in SoCal on this rainy day. Then I saw your pictures and realize this ain't' nothing here!
ReplyDeleteDaisy is a dog after my own heart - lay in the sun when a girl gets the chance! We are getting warm southern winds so nothing frozen around here and I'm very grateful.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, really looks cool...
ReplyDeleteSeeriously?? Sound asleep?? Amazing - and so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the big ball of fluff!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very happy dog. Also, a very dirty dog.
ReplyDeleteHappy dog! Would you believe -- our rabbit does that? This is the first rabbit we've owned that flops on her back like a dog, exposing her belly to the sunspot in the room.
ReplyDeleteI understand where she's coming from :)
ReplyDeleteShe's just so pretty - even when rolling with her paws in the air!
