Nobody Comes In, Nobody Goes Out (Well, Except for Us Going to Do Chores)
I love our little front yard gate:

7/7/05: Robin at the Front Yard Gate
3/1/09: Snow! (Again!)

Besides, we always spend Saturday Date Nights at home—especially when there's a bottle of champagne chilling outside and a gorgeous full moon shining up above.
It's nice to know that we are not the only ones who look forward to date night at home :)......We love that we love our home, as you do yours. Blessings~ Liz
ReplyDeleteWe're snowed in, too! I love it. Don't have to go anywhere... just played with the dogs and checked on the neighbors. Made homemade bread. Life is good!

We were snowed in too. Hubby took the kids sledding behind the go kart but we couldn't go anywhere else. But I love it! So pretty outside!!!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of your cute animals!
I don't suppose you have a hot tub too? Cause there is nothing as romantic as sipping champagne under a full moon while soaking in a hot tub. Just be sure to bring boots and heavy bathrobes or you'll freeze. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty photo (I love your gate too.) We haven't really had much snow this year so far. (Very odd winter so far.) I'd kind of like a snow day/night :).
ReplyDeleteI wondered how you were doing. I'm not exactly sure where you are in MO but I'm pretty sure you are South of I-44. I'm about 25 minutes North of the Lake of the Ozarks. We got about 2 inches of snow here. Glad to see your post and know your okay!
ReplyDeleteSame thing here in south KS... we were snowed in by Friday night, and more than happy to stay home for pizza and beer night! ;) I love your lil gate too.
ReplyDeleteSo I have been coming here for a while now and enjoying your blog. I too live the crazy country life and can relate to many of your posts. I just wanted to tell you that you have inspired me to start a blog of my own. I figured if I enjoyed reading your blog about you crazy country life I may as well blog about mine.
ReplyDeleteEvery winter is different, isn't it? We haven't been snowed in yet - the plowman was pretty eager to start earning a little money, so he got here pronto! Peaceful scenes on your beautiful farm, sigh. Enjoy that champagne!
ReplyDeleteOh snow.. when are you going to melt? Ain'tcha sick of it? ugh!
