    Thank you!

No Valentine lambs. But there are some very pregnant lady sheep out there (like two dozen). I'm checking them every few hours 'round the clock. Who knew a sheep could get so wide? : )

    Hi Baking Soda,
Thank you, and your Valentine cookies are gorgeous.

    Hi Lindy,
Why thank you. I'm so touched.

    Hi Kathy,
Welcome to the farm! Oh yum. Your version of my Cranberry Scones sounds positively scrumptious. I must try it. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Clare,
    Aren't you sweet.

    Hi Joe & B'Gina,

Hello Susan; Enjoy your blog. and have made your 3 breads and wonderful, your hints were great..Also Jamie Oliver has a salad with green olives, 2-kinds of tomatoes, and lettuce, and bow tie pasta. A wonderful lunch salad..Your garden is bueatiful and more tips about gardens would be great,I get most of my learning from england.........thanks again Have a forever farm life..

  11. Hi Anon,
I'm so glad you had delicious success with my bread recipes! Thanks for taking the time to let me know. That salad does sound like a wonderful lunch - especially as I sit here snowed in and dreaming of vine-ripened tomatoes from the garden. I'll have to keep it in mind until this summer.

As for more gardening tips, have you discovered my offshoot garden blog, In My Kitchen Garden? Things have been kind of quiet over there lately, but I'm hoping to get back to posting much more regularly (I certainly have enough photos to!). And of course you can always peruse the monthly archives (links are in the sidebar).

Another site full of all kinds of helpful gardening info is Cynthia Sandberg's Grow Better Veggies. Cynthia owns and operates Love Apple Farm in California, which supplies the acclaimed Manresa Restaurant. Cynthia has a great sense of humor, and her enthusiasm for gardening is truly infectious.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
