Weekend Dog Blogging #26: Off Duty Dog

We've Found Another Use For All That Uneaten Hay

Attention Dog Lovers! It's time for Weekend Dog Blogging #26!
To see fun dog photos and discover yummy new food blogs, head over to
Sweetnicks on Sunday night for the complete roundup. Want to see more woofers? Check out the weekly Carnival Of The Dogs. And at The Friday Ark you'll find dozens of links to everything from canines to a common checkered skipper.

  1. Ha! When I first looked at this photo, I experienced an optical illusion. It looked like a hole in the hay, until my eyes adjusted, and the dog appeared!

  2. Okay Lindy,
That's it. No more chicken tenders for you.

  3. LOLOLOL --- no illusion seeing eyes here.. that's da buddy bear enjoying a roll in the hay as it were....
*considers that thought... that sounds wrong...*

    **coughs giggles and leaves it**

    Have a great evening....

  4. Now there's a dog who knows how to have fun. :)

  5. Oh man! He makes me want to go play with him!

  6. Hi Heather,

    Hi Cate,
Lucky Buddy Bear excels at amusing himself--and us!

    Hi Sunidesus,
He loves to play. He's such a fun and crazy dog. Very hyper. He knows (most of the time) that jumping on us is not allowed (which is difficult for him because that's how he gets the animals to move--jumps up at their front, as he's a "header"). Anyway, so instead of jumping on us he'll jump NEXT to us--straight up and look you in the eye. With a big grin on his face of course!

January 2013 update: Hi! I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

If you're waiting for a reply to your comment and have a Blogger profile (it's free to create one) you can check the NOTIFY ME box that is below and receive all follow up comments to just this specific post via email.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
