Cheeky & Her Chick on a Perch In The Henhouse
© Copyright 2008 FarmgirlFare.com, the award-winning blog where the three chicks who hatched last month are at that cute but scraggly stage, somewhere between ball of fluff and full of feathers - and so far none of them are showing signs of being roosters! But of course it's still early.
As a city girl I'm not sure what you have to find in order to be sure you have a rooster. Can you tell us a little bit about that?
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see your chickens, I think "Man, we really need to get on building the chicken coop." And yet, still no coop. TOO MUCH TO DO.
ReplyDeleteYour donkey's are so wonderful : ) one of these day I'm going to ad on to my menagerie but my husband said the next animals I bring onto this farm have to end up in our freezer... sigh ... the chicks are so cute.. I don't know how you have time to post with all the spring chores whew.. and still most likely recovering from lambing... keep on keepin'
