We've Got Chickens Lined Up
© Copyright 2008 FarmgirlFare.com, the fine feathered foodie farm blog where sometimes you can't help but wonder if the chickens really do all see something that you don't, or if they're just entertaining themselves at your expense - and we still only have the one new baby chick.
I just read your bio and it is so familar. We moved from No.Cal to Texas in 1995 into Houston and city living of course. Where I was the Director of Girls Soccer lots of glitz and tv interviews! Then we visited some of our friends country places and the longing began. Now we live on 5 acres and we are already longing for more land, we love the country! My Berkeley education has not been as helpful as my love for learning. I don't read much Chaucer at this point but I can't put down Storey's guide to chickens! LOl's...its wonderful how the Lord changes our hearts and turns us in unexpected directions. I'm gonna search your site for some of this good country cooking I see advertised at the top.
