  1. Maybe he's feeling neglected due to new critters taking your attention?

totally off-topic, is there a recipe for your oatmeal bread around here somewhere? or your everyday white? I am looking for a few new standard recipes and figure yours are a better place to start than most.

Your permalink over to farmphotos is bad though.... I clicked it cuz I wanted to see the action shots! Good thing I am clever enough to figure out how to find it anyway! Click Here for the over flow action shots!

I didn't get to make my pitas today as hoped... its been a long trying day with overcoming a migraine and dealing with the kids... tomorrow will be a better day. Plenty to do and hopefully the kidlets will cooperate. Migraine is all gone for now.... Yay!

  5. Hi Kitchenmage,
Neglected? Bear? The 100% Purebred Attention Hound who answers to any name on the farm? Who will wiggle his way between you and a sheep so that he can be part of the hug? Bear? Neglected? Naaaahhh. : )

Oatmeal Toasting Bread! Oh yes, I know it! : )

In fact, I've baked 12 loaves of it in the past two weeks, have recipe perfected, have during and after photographs of baking process, have been munching on yummy slices of toast with butter and jam at breakfast for days, had lovely grilled cheese sandwich using it yesterday. . . just have not written up post. : )

It will happen in the near future.

(Ha! You thought I was going to say 'soon' didn't you? Didn't you? Come on, you can admit it. But I didn't--just for you, Kitchenmage. : )

    Hi Rosa,
    He's a cutie pie, that's for sure. : )

    Hi Jeff,
    Uh, nope. : )

    Hi Heather,
Thanks for the heads up on the broken link. It's fixed now. I think The Doodle Monster (who does not like dogs--or anything but me, really) has figured out my Blogger password. . . : )

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
